* Applicant owned more than ONE outstanding property under mortgage loan at the time of mortgage loan application → the applicable base-Debt-Serving-Ratio limits will be from 10% to 40%.

Remarks: 1. Application from borrowers whose income is derived mainly from outside Hong Kong IS NOT ACCEPTED for applicating MIP
2. Application from FIRST TIME HOMEBUYERS ( or BUYER without owing any property within 5 years) with regular salaries → the applicable base-Debt-Ratio limits of applying for 90% Loan to Value mortgage will be 45%
3. Applicant owned more than TWO outstanding property under mortgage loan at the time of mortgage loan application → the applicable base-Debt-Ratio limits and stressed-Debt-Serving-Ratio limits will be reduced by 40%
4. Application from borrowers whose are Self-Employed Non-Professional apply over 85% mortgage loan → the applicable base-Debt-Serving-Ratio limits and stressed-Debt-Serving-Ratio limits will be reduced by 35%
* ONLY REGULAR SALARIES first time homebuyers with a maximum debt-to-income ratio of 45% could apply for a maximum of 90% Loan to Value mortgage, buyers WITHOUT REGULAR SALARIES most likely could ONLY apply for NOT MORE THAN 80% Loan to Value mortgage.
 
** The maximum Repayment period for all primary residential property is 30 years.
